The Siegel Law Group and Lee & Braziel joined forces to file a lawsuit against Superior Health Plan on behalf of its current and former Service Coordinators throughout Texas. The Superior Health Plan Lawsuit claims that the Superior Healthplan failed to pay its Service Coordinators many hours of overtime because of the following:
- Superior Health Plan misclassified its Service Coordinators as exempt from overtime;
- Service Coordinators are not exempt because they do not meet any overtime exemptions recognized under federal law; and
- Service Coordinators regularly worked and were not paid for their overtime hours.
Since filing the lawsuit on behalf of one Service Coordinator, over 10 individuals have decided to join the Superior Health Plan Lawsuit to pursue thousands of dollars in unpaid overtime. You can find a copy of the Original Complaint filed on September 25, 2015 here.
Please note that if you are a current or former Superior Health Plan Service Coordinator, we recommend that you contact us immediately to pursue your unpaid overtime claim. Failure to do so may disallow you from pursuing your wages in the Superior Health Plan lawsuit. Service Coordinators only have up to three years to pursue their overtime claims.
